People always ask me how this all started. Here you go....
I have been baking cookies since coming out of the womb. My training began while spending nights over at my Grandma Rose's.. We would make old-school sugar cookies with a rolling pin and an insane amount of cookie cutters. That's where my love of cookies began.

Before I move on, you have to understand my Grandma Rose wasn't your typical Grandmother. She was a natural entertainer who loved to act, sing, dance and make people laugh. She did all of that while also being a mother of 6 and Grandmother of 16 (I'm #15). She was an amazing woman.
Through the years I've been making
stuff for friends' parties, birthdays or any other chance I had to bake
in the kitchen. A few years ago it finally hit me…why not open a cookie
company? Getting fired from a job I hated was just the kick in the ass I
needed to get started. That was a few years and a several thousand
cookies ago.
Now we're available in 12 metro Los Angeles locations, as well as being
a vendor at the LA Derby Dolls and Downtown Art Walk.
My plan is open a
store by 2011.
Funny and Ironic story:
After starting Freshly Baked I was over at my aunt’s house and we
started talking about Grandma Rose. My aunt told me that she wanted to
open her own bakery, which I never knew. Grandma Rose passed away years
ago and never knew about Freshly Baked. Life is funny that way... I
moved out to LA for an acting and comedy career only to open a gourmet
cookie company. I guess it was meant to be. Thanks, Grandma Rose...
